The topic of money can sometimes bring out
the worst in a person. It seems that like Jacob of old we are born with our hands outstretched trying to grab
more, more, more (Genesis 25:24-26). Even from a young age we see selfishness manifest. The concept of
stewardship that we have been talking about for the past few weeks goes directly against our sinful fallen
nature. But God in His infinite wisdom knew that the best way for us to learn to trust Him is through our money.
According to Biblical stewardship all money and possessions fall into one of three categories:
Tithes
Offerings and
Remaining Principle
