I detest long trips. Although the destination, at times, is worth it, getting there is tiring, frustrating and stressful to me. When I get back from a long tip I'm often so beat that I want to rest up before I'm ready to do anything useful. But last week I had to make a trip to Topeka, KS for some meetings and I car-pooled with another pastor who did all the driving. Although I was more then ready for the trip to end, I found the trip to go by faster and be less stressful as I was able to practice the Biblical principles of Sabbath rest, believe and obey. Today we'll look into the book of Hebrews to see how we can live in a state of Sabbath Rest not just on the Sabbath day but all the time.
