I'm sure you've seen those garden hoses with little holes all over them. When it's connected to an open spigot it just can't contain all it's water so it blesses all the plants around it with little streams of life giving water shooting in all directions. In a similar way "wherever the life of God is in the hearts of men, it will flow out to others in love and blessing."--Steps to Christ, p.52

This is the ninth in our series, "Steps to Christ: How to be ready for Jesus to come." Last week we switched gears from talking about how to come to Christ to how to live with Christ. Our topic today is, "The Work and the Life". To discover the what the work and the life is we need not go any farther than the examination of Jesus' work and life. The study of Jesus' work and life is an important and deep topic which we'll only scratch the surface of today.
